Many challenges face the Charlotte Area Transit System – As Dan and Martin found out this week, chief among these, you guessed it, budgets ! Especially working to channel more federal funds into Charlotte’s non-auto modes of travel. Also discussed were accommodations for bikes on LYNX cars, bike “blinkie” light giveaways to bus users as well as potentials for safe and secure cycling along the entire length of the NE LYNX light rail to UNCC and beyond.
